The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. We want to align our actions more closely with the needs of our clients and advance digitalisation.
Social insurances can reclaim their benefits from a third party or their liability insurance if they are liable for the social insurance case. This is carried out for IV and AHV by the respective recourse services.
The Bern Recourse Service is organisationally attached to the IV Office of the Canton of Bern. It conducts recourse procedures for the two IV Offices Bern and Solothurn as well as the compensation offices located in the Canton of Bern.

- You reliably and customer-orientedly conduct the necessary correspondence and telephone calls
- You independently request documents to prepare the personal injury files for the lawyers
- You can actively and solution-orientedly clarify factual circumstances
- You make initial preliminary decisions in liability assessment and contribute creatively to processes
Which skills are important to us
- A completed commercial apprenticeship
- Experience in the insurance industry and medical expertise are advantageous
- Interest in liability law constellations involving personal injury
- Confident handling of IT applications and openness to new things
- Independent, reliable and resilient working style – you are dependable
- Quick comprehension and organisational talent
- You are a team player, empathetic in dealing with others, helpful and actively involved in the team
- You actively shape changes and contribute to a positive working atmosphere
- We are a bilingual (German-French) company, therefore active knowledge of the respective other language is desired

- Working hours
Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks

At least 25 days of holiday annually, 28 days from the age of 45 and 33 days from the age of 55. Possibility of unpaid leave

Cantonal salary system, gender-neutral and comprehensible salary policy. Full salary during parental leave, military, civil protection and civil service
