Clerk Climate Protection and Innovation

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Clerk Climate Protection and Innovation starting April 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
- As a clerk, you are jointly responsible for the implementation of the new Graubünden Climate Protection and Innovation Act (BKIG).
- You plan and conduct tenders for funding cases that fall under the BKIG.
- You assess incoming funding applications (projects) and prepare basic documents and funding guidelines.
- You provide supportive assistance where such projects are the responsibility of other departments.
- In addition, you are jointly responsible for impact monitoring and the climate and innovation program (multi-year planning).
- You plan and organize meetings of various committees and prepare the discussion content.
- At the same time, you contribute to the implementation and further development of the cantonal climate strategy as well as the organization of the annual internal administrative climate forum.
- You coordinate reporting to the federal government according to Art. 15 and 16 of the CO2 Ordinance and advise internal and external specialist and service departments on climate-specific issues.
- You bring your knowledge into interdisciplinary cantonal and national working groups and maintain exchange with various interest groups.
What we expect from you
- You have a university or university of applied sciences degree with a scientific focus.
- You have experience with project assessments and a flair for numbers and economic issues.
- Experience in administration and industry, mainly in large industry and in the fields of energy and process engineering, as well as experience with competitive tenders, is an advantage.
- You are accustomed to customer contact and maintain a respectful approach to stakeholders.
- You can assert yourself and remain calm and composed in conflict situations.
- Organizational and communication skills characterize you, and you are an initiative and entrepreneurial-minded personality with a high level of commitment.
- You have a good grasp and are flexible as well as willing to familiarize yourself with new topics.
- Proficiency in German, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite to fulfill the tasks assigned to you, and knowledge of a second cantonal language (Italian or Romansh) as well as English is an advantage.
