Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a Division of the Knecht Group (Workplace Windisch, Zurich or hybrid possible)

The Knecht Group is an expanding service group in the fields of healthcare (including MoPi, Private Care, among others), commercial vehicle centres (Thomann Commercial Vehicles), passenger transport (Eurobus), travel (Knecht Travel) and goods transport (Welti-Furrer). It employs around 3,000 staff across various subsidiaries.

Another independent holding with several subsidiaries manages activities in property management and development, financing/leasing, operation of car parks and petrol stations.

We are looking for an ambitious individual as the future CFO of one of the divisions of the Knecht Group. In this role, you will hold a central position within the Knecht Group. You will report directly to the Managing Director and lead a team of several employees.

• Overall financial responsibility for several subsidiaries within a division of the Knecht Group
• Leading a team of several specialists and administrative staff
• Preparing operational accounting closures
• Preparing budgets, financial reports and analyses for the management and the board of directors
• Ensuring effective reporting and controlling
• Preparing financial accounting year-end statements and performing reconciliation tasks
• You are responsible for the correct handling of VAT and direct taxes for your clients
• Supporting the line with special tasks/taking on projects
• Further developing and optimising Abacus processes as well as other systems

• You have an excellent track record in accounting, finance or controlling.
• You hold a degree from a university or university of applied sciences as well as further training at expert level or are currently undertaking such further training (auditing, accounting and controlling, fiduciary or similar).
• You are an ambitious individual wishing to develop further in a challenging role. You are willing to learn, resilient and ready to take on responsibility. You convince with proven leadership experience.
• You have very good Abacus and Excel skills.
• You think critically and analytically, work precisely and have an eye for detail.
