Network Construction Sector Manager (100%)
In a context of significant investments in our infrastructure and transformation of the electrical sector, you take responsibility for a key area of our activity. Leading a team of around 25 employees, supported by 4 foremen, you combine vision, professional expertise and leadership to ensure the performance of activities today and prepare their development for tomorrow.
Your mission:
- Set the course and unite the teams: lead, support and develop the teams. Set priorities and objectives, monitor them and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and performance in an environment where high standards and kindness go hand in hand.
- Develop the sector and prepare for the future: anticipate the evolution of activities and necessary skills, support professional transformations and actively contribute to the sector’s attractiveness, recruitment and talent development.
- Manage an activity at the heart of our investments: plan and supervise works related to LV and MV networks, transformer stations, customer connections and public lighting, in a context marked by significant investments and major projects.
- Ensure operational excellence: guarantee the quality and safety of work execution as well as compliance with deadlines, standards, regulations and current processes.
- Manage the sector’s economic performance: establish and manage the operating budget and ensure rigorous financial monitoring, ensuring cost and commitment control.
- Be a recognised interlocutor within our ecosystem: develop trusting relationships with municipalities, customers, civil engineering companies, contractors and partners, and ensure effective coordination with other Viteos services.
- Represent the service’s interests with our partners and customers: supervise and validate offers related notably to LV reinforcements and new supplies, while ensuring service quality and seeking relevant solutions.
- Advance our practices: identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives, notably in digitalisation, operational efficiency, work organisation, customer service and field practices.

Requirements
Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for a personality with genuine managerial stature, capable of mobilising experienced teams and supporting the development of a strategic sector. To succeed in this role, you have:
- A federal diploma or equivalent qualification (a Federal Certificate complemented by significant professional and managerial experience)
- Confirmed managerial experience, ideally at least 5 years, in leading operational and field teams
- Excellent knowledge of the Swiss electrical distribution sector, its challenges and stakeholders
- In-depth mastery of distribution networks as well as applicable standards, directives and regulations
- Good knowledge of MV/LV overhead networks, essential for the role;
- Demonstrated ability to manage an activity, handle financial issues and support change
- A natural leadership combining high standards, decisiveness, listening and kindness
- A genuine sensitivity to skills development, job attractiveness and talent retention issues
- Good command of common IT tools, notably ERP, GIS and office software.
