In this responsible leadership role, you will manage and develop project management holistically with a clear focus on corporate strategy and overarching business objectives.

• Overall responsibility for a multidisciplinary project management organisation including leadership, further development, and scaling of teams and team leads
• Strategic responsibility for project management and project portfolio including prioritisation, resource allocation, budget control, and result accountability in line with corporate goals
• Further development and transformation of project management towards modern, scalable standards (including digital tools, data-driven control, and KPI systems) with direct impact on efficiency, transparency, and company performance
• Establishment and further development of effective governance, PMO/PM, and reporting structures to ensure transparency and decision-making capability up to executive management level, as well as promotion of a modern, performance-oriented PM culture
• Central escalation and decision-making authority as well as driver of transformation and efficiency initiatives with measurable contribution to operational excellence and value creation of project management

• You have successfully completed a university degree in business, management, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years (approx. 10+ years) of solid professional and leadership experience in strategic and operational project management, ideally in an industrial environment, e.g. (special) machinery or plant engineering.
• Proven success in managing complex, international project portfolios as well as in designing and implementing transformation initiatives in project management
• In addition, you demonstrate pronounced strategic and analytical competence, combined with strong implementation skills, decisiveness, and experience in building and further developing organisations, PM/PMO structures, and processes (including digital tools and KPI systems)
• Professional appearance as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at top management level in an international environment
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
