About the job
For a successful industrial company with its own production, we are looking for a committed individual as a Financial Accountant. In this versatile role, you ensure the quality and transparency of financial figures, oversee accounts across multiple companies, and make an important contribution to efficient processes in accounting.
Financial Accountant 80-100%
Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the financial accounting of several companies
- Reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts as well as ensuring data quality in the general ledger
- Responsibility for VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR and IFRS
- Support during external audits
- Active participation in digitalisation and automation projects
- Collaboration with production, purchasing and sales departments on finance-related matters
Your Profile
- Completed commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting (at specialist certificate or bachelor level)
- At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting
- Confidence in preparing financial statements according to OR (/IFRS)
- Good to very good Excel skills as well as experience with ERP systems (SAP or Abacus)
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Team-oriented personality
