What to expect

In the Property Damage Central department of the Directorate, we are strengthening our teams of property damage specialists with an additional position. Together with them, you will be responsible for handling complex claims cases in the Central market.

Your impact with us

The focus of this position is the independent handling and settlement of complex claims cases in the property sectors of our private and business customers. Your area of operation extends to parts of the Central Plateau as well as Central Switzerland. You will assess coverage and liability issues and prepare damage calculations.

You will conduct demanding investigations and negotiations with policyholders, their legal representatives, and experts.

Additionally, you will support our general agency claims services in technical matters and participate in projects as well as in training and further education.

Your profile

• Solid insurance training (professional certificate) or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in handling complex claims cases as a claims inspector
• Enjoyment of business-related contexts
• Initiative, communicative, independent, and assertive personality
• Customer- and solution-oriented working style, professional appearance, and negotiation skills
• German as mother tongue, knowledge of another national language is an advantage
