Your tasks:

• In your role, you independently and successfully conduct acceptance tests of control and safety technology (CST) systems
• Developing concepts and strategies for the modernisation of future network expansion and conversion while considering economic efficiency is part of your responsibilities
• Your expertise counts: You are significantly involved in preparing technical statements, analyses, and evaluations – including prioritising maintenance and investment measures
• You conduct certifications for operational colleagues and organise training events as well as practical instructions
• If there are disruptions in rail operations (regarding safety, availability, or reliability of systems) requiring immediate action, you contribute your specialist knowledge
• Furthermore, you are the technical contact person and expert for construction projects and project planning related to control and safety technology and actively participate in regional and central special projects

Your profile:

• A successfully completed technical or university degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) in electrical engineering / information technology or a comparable field is a prerequisite for this position
• Alternatively, you are a master craftsman / technician with at least 5 years of experience in the CST field
• Additionally, you hold recognition as an Inspection Expert: Partial Acceptance Inspector (PSV-TAP) CST, formerly Kz3
• You convince with your experience in planning, construction, and operation of electrical systems; ideally, you have a qualification as district manager or construction supervisor CST
• Persuasiveness, assertiveness, confident appearance, and highly developed independent working skills are important qualities you already possess
• You are flexible and willing to occasionally work on weekends, public holidays, or nights on site, naturally with the corresponding financial allowance. You hold a Class B driving licence
• Safety is paramount during ongoing operations, so a medical fitness examination is part of our selection process
