To strengthen our Metrology team, we wish to hire a:
Metrology Technician 80-100% (m/f)
Your role:
- Carry out metrology activities (incoming inspection and measurement of customer parts for applications and production support for the preparation and validation of our machines)
- Write reports and perform analyses for internal and external clients. Handle non-conformities for incoming inspection, in collaboration with supplier quality
- Ensure maintenance, inspection (internal/external) and traceability of measuring machines and equipment, under the responsibility of the Metrology department
- Maintain and improve KPIs related to the Metrology department
- Support and advise other departments when purchasing measuring equipment
- Ensure the proper alignment between our measuring means and the evolution of our developments
- Ensure compliance with metrology and safety procedures and adapt them as needed
- Collaborate closely with other departments on ongoing technical issues, projects or prototypes in development. Participate in discussions with clients in support of the Sales team
- Use and program measuring machines (Werth, Keyence)
- Contribute to the validation and reliability of embedded measuring systems on our products (notably R&R)
- Actively participate in continuous improvement and optimisation of control methods
Your profile:
- Technician or HES engineer training in quality and microtechnology with experience in metrology, or equivalent training/experience
- Mastery of reading plans and interpreting ISO GPS dimensioning. Knowledge of programming (WinWerth software would be an asset) and basics of industrial statistics
- Ability to use and understand technical software packages (ERP, CAD) as well as MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Precise, conscientious, autonomous, comfortable in communication and open to change
- Methodical person, comfortable with documentation and work standardisation (knowledge of Lean Management would be an asset)
- Perfect command of French (spoken and written) and very good knowledge of English
