About the job
The Employment Integration Office of the City of Thun supports unemployed and social assistance recipients in their professional and social integration. We offer temporary placements in our own group programmes (Work Deployment Thun, Creative and Workshop Studio Alpenrösli, and Thun Bicycle Station) as well as in external companies.
For a meaningful activity centred on the individual, we are looking, by arrangement, for a temporary position until 31 December 2027 for a
Your tasks:
- Leading, guiding and supervising participants in the maintenance sector, park care, firewood, hiking trails, cleaning and other maintenance work
- Assisting in all craft areas of the work deployment (carpentry, painting, logistics of the creative and workshop studio)
- Conducting entry and exit interviews as well as status discussions with programme participants in interdisciplinary teams
- Various administrative tasks including managing the case management system
You bring with you:
- Craftsman qualification EFZ, preferably in the area of gardener, landscape gardener, forester, facility maintenance specialist
- Additional training in the work agogic field
- Experience in social and professional integration work with people in challenging situations
- Independent working style and confident use of common Office applications
- Communication and conflict skills, initiative and networked thinking
- Assertiveness, teamwork, resilience, loyalty and independence
- Humour and composure, even in hectic times
- Driving licence B
