About the job
The modern digitalized hospital pharmacy is looking for a new head of the pharmacy for the clinics with 462 beds. You will lead a highly motivated team and ensure the supply of medicines.
We are looking for you to join an existing committed team from August 2026 or by arrangement as
Tasks
- Organization of the maintenance and updating of medicinal product master data in the merchandise management system
- Coordination of interface work between IT, nursing, medical staff, and hospital pharmacy to optimize processes and interprofessional collaboration
- Responsibility for the further development of the hospital pharmacy within the framework of digitization projects, especially the implementation of closed-loop procedures in the PDAG
- Ensuring a high-quality and economical supply of medicines in accordance with legal and operational requirements
- Handling inquiries about medicines and medical devices as well as validating orders outside the assortment
- Organization of ward inspections
- Updating the QM system with the aim of promoting treatment quality and patient safety from admission to discharge
- Leadership tasks in various commissions (hygiene commission, drug commission, etc.) and authorities
- Personnel management
Profile
- Swiss federal diploma pharmacist or equivalent MEBEKO recognized foreign degree with cantonal professional practice permit and preferably FPH hospital pharmacy title
- Leadership experience, preferably in the hospital pharmacy sector, and CAS Leadership / Management desirable
- High social competence, resilience, and sense of responsibility
- Structured, solution-oriented, independent, and innovative working style
- Open to new things and enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration
- Enthusiasm and initiative to actively shape and optimize the patient-oriented medication process in the "Closed Loop" project
- Very good MS Office skills, experience with master data maintenance, and knowledge of Business Central (BC) advantageous
