The Training - What to Expect?
- During your three-year training period, you will work in various areas of the kitchen and acquire broad knowledge on diverse topics such as food, cooking methods, and nutrition. You will cook for patients, visitors, and the staff of our hospital and assist in the preparation of banquets. Besides classic cuisine, you will also have the opportunity to prepare exotic dishes for different groups within the hospital. You can also contribute your own ideas and wishes in the hospital kitchen. To deepen your theoretical knowledge, you will attend the vocational school in Aarau and complete the inter-company courses in the health sector. It is also possible to complete the training with a vocational baccalaureate with us.

- Good performance in secondary school up to district school level
- You enjoy working with food and cooking
- Creativity, flexibility, and organisational skills
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Good German language skills
