Initial Situation

Our corporate client, a globally active transport and logistics company, is looking for a dynamic clerk for the sea freight export sector for its internationally operating team. A challenge where you work independently and get your shipments to their destination...

Tasks

• handling worldwide sea freight export and cross-trade shipments (focus clearly on export)
• advising customers by phone/email (including preparing quotations)
• scheduling shipments with carriers/shipping companies
• monitoring shipments
• invoicing orders
• covering for sea freight import during team absences
• carrying out general commercial activities related to sea freight forwarding

Requirements

Training as a freight forwarding agent
Professional experience in sea freight forwarding

IT

User knowledge of MS Office programmes (only Word, Excel, Outlook)

Languages

German: mother tongue + very good knowledge
English: mother tongue + good knowledge (at forwarding level)
Additional languages are an advantage

Age

approx. 21 to 57 years
