To complete our team at the Medical Assessment Service (SAM) in Bellinzona, which carries out multidisciplinary and bidisciplinary medical expert assessments, we are looking for a
SAM Medical Expert with specialisation in general internal medicine (work percentage to be defined)
Profile:
The person we are looking for has professional experience and autonomy, motivated to acquire expertise in the expert/insurance field (if not already possessed).
Necessary requirements:
- a medical degree and a specialisation in general internal medicine (for foreign qualifications, MEBEKO recognition must already have been obtained before starting the activity). They must also have registered their Italian language skills (minimum level B2) in Medreg before starting, according to the new LPMed provisions in force since 1 January 2018;
- a practising certificate in the Canton of Ticino obtained before starting at our Institute;
- strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- organisational skills.
- experience in the expert/insurance field;
- knowledge of German and other national languages;
- knowledge of the Swiss insurance system and the main rulings in the insurance/expert field.
- drafting expert evaluations in Italian; including:
- dictation of medical records;
- extensive anamnesis collection;
- thorough clinical examination;
- multidisciplinary case discussion with the specialists involved;
- discussion of previous evaluations and contentious and contradictory points in the records;
- drafting the medical expert report with clear and precise answers to all expert questions;
- respect for the deadlines for submitting the expert report and the quality criteria of the report.
