As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the Director Global Supply Chain and Procurement to lead and implement various cross-functional projects across the Group. You will be actively involved in initiatives aimed at further optimizing SCHURTER's global supply chain and procurement processes, collaborating with a network of experts throughout the organization.
Your Challenges

Drive cross-functional alignment between demand planning, production, and procurement teams.

Contribute to projects focused on improving on-time delivery (OTD) and enhancing order cycle efficiency through process improvements.

Support the investigation and implementation of data-driven forecasting models to optimize supply plans, balancing inventory and service levels.

Lead initiatives to optimize inventory levels applying lean principles such as Just-in-Time (JIT), Kanban, and safety stock strategies in close cooperation with operating teams.

Enhance operational efficiency by leveraging ERP systems (SAP preferred), forecasting tools, and supplier portals to improve supply chain visibility and responsiveness.

Assist project teams in applying Lean, Six Sigma, and value stream mapping methodologies to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

Identify potential risks related to supplier delays, capacity constraints, and market disruptions, and support the development of mitigation strategies.
Your Profile
-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.

3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in manufacturing or the electronics industry.

Ability to evaluate supplier performance metrics, sourcing strategies, and support supplier negotiations.

Practical experience with S&OP, demand planning, and/or inventory optimization.

Familiarity with forecasting tools and supply chain analytics.

Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Proven ability to support cross-functional supply chain projects and deliver measurable improvements in a PMO or project coordination role.

Strong collaboration skills with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment, ideally backed by private equity.

Background in Lean Supply Chain, Six Sigma, or certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP are advantageous.

This position is Europe-based and requires regular business travel.
