The Alterszentrum Region Bülach Foundation comprises 159 care places and 29 retirement apartments across six different locations, Spitex services, as well as a public restaurant. With around 350 employees, our foundation is one of the larger employers in the Zurich lowlands. Besides meaningful work, you have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse sector.

The foundation trains around 34 apprentices in various professions as well as higher vocational students. For the Education Department (initial and continuing education), we are looking for a

Head of Education Department (80 – 100%)

starting 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.

In this newly created, exciting role, you will be the contact person for all education-related matters. Alongside a high degree of personal responsibility, you can look forward to a great and well-functioning team as well as plenty of scope for shaping the role.

Your main tasks

• Organisational and professional leadership of the Education Department

• Personnel management of 4 employees (full-time vocational trainers in care)

• Ensuring and further developing quality standards of training for all our training professions

• Supporting vocational trainers in the various specialist areas

• Building staff development and learning management

• Organising internal further training and reviewing external further training

• Handling organisational and administrative tasks related to education

What you bring

• Completed tertiary-level education

• Training or further education in the field of education (at least trainer with a federal professional certificate)

• Several years of experience in a comparable role

• Good organisational skills and enthusiasm for the further development of education
