About the job

Our interdisciplinary emergency department at UKBB treats around 40,000 patients of all ages and severity levels annually. To strengthen our team in the attached outpatient clinic, we are looking for a committed and flexible individual for assignments by individual arrangement from 1 November 2026 or by agreement. You can expect a varied role with a high degree of personal responsibility in a collegial environment. The position is ideal for doctors who want to organise their clinical work flexibly or expand their experience in paediatric care.

Start date: from 1 November 2026 or by agreement

Your tasks

• Independent assessment and treatment of ambulatory walk-in emergency patients
• Advice and support for patients and their families during the treatment process
• Close collaboration with medical practice assistants and the emergency department team
• Contribution to high-quality, efficient and patient-oriented care
• Targeted and resource-efficient use of the diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of the emergency department
• Support for smooth operations in the outpatient clinic

Your profile

• Swiss medical diploma or an equivalent, recognised qualification
• Professional experience in a paediatric environment is an advantage
• Independent, responsible and patient-oriented working style
• Enjoyment in caring for children, adolescents and their families
• Flexibility for assignments by individual arrangement
