The living rooms in the Burgerheim of Burgergut Thun in Steffisburg are the shared lounges and dining areas of our three care departments. Here, the residents have their meals, spend time together, and experience small, valuable moments in everyday life. The role combines hospitality, housekeeping, and attentive, warm, and reliable care of elderly people.

We are looking for a

Living Room Staff 80 – 100 %

Your tasks

• Responsibility for preparation and follow-up as well as execution of the meal service
• Assistance with menu planning and selection
• Carrying out housekeeping tasks in the living rooms
• Participation in the daily activities of the residents
• Assistance with internal and external events
• Accompanying residents on excursions

Your profile

• Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) in gastronomy, housekeeping, related professions or equivalent proven experience
• Preferably experience in daily activity planning and meal service
• Experience in dealing with and supporting elderly people
• Enjoyment of gastronomy, care and housekeeping
• High social competence, reliability, friendliness and service-oriented attitude
• Team spirit, enthusiasm, helpfulness and a considerate manner
