What to expect
We are looking for an initiative, independent and curious person with manual skills who is interested in biology and school operations. Tasks
You are the hub for practical biology lessons and support our four biology teachers as follows:
- Preparation and provision of experiments for lessons
- Organisation and preparation of the biology internship in the 3rd and 6th semester of the basic subject
- Organisation and supervision of molecular biology practicals in the specialisation and supplementary subject
- Repair, procurement and commissioning of equipment
- Development of new experimental setups
- Support of teachers in special teaching formats
- Organisation and supervision of collections
What distinguishes you
You bring joy in biology and technology and are characterised as follows:
- Completed vocational training as a biological laboratory technician with professional experience in molecular biology or comparable training in the field of biology
- Organisational talent, teamwork skills and a strong service orientation
- Resilience and flexibility in independently handling diverse tasks
- Basic knowledge of IT applications
- Creativity and practical skills in implementing experimental questions
- Enjoyment in working with young people and collaborating with teachers
