Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you have the opportunity to purchase materials according to the required technical specifications, prices, delivery times, and conditions. Every day, you ensure that purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures. You also present your expertise by identifying new suppliers in collaboration with the respective category team.

The working model for this role is: hybrid.

This role contributes to the overall success of PMA in Uster.

You are mainly responsible for:

• Initiating purchase orders in the system according to orders and in line with standard procedures, as well as confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring and tracking supplier performance according to PO requirements.

• Negotiating agreements with main providers and regularly renewing price lists and business terms.

• Analysing and evaluating areas to determine optimal value.

Qualifications for the role

• You work with SAP and Office tools

• Ability to demonstrate your experience in the purchasing department

• You are passionate about operational purchasing and optimising procurement

• Completed vocational training in purchasing

• You can communicate comfortably in German and English
