Mother and Father Advisor kjz Winterthur 60%The Office for Youth and Career Counselling of the Department of Education provides, commissions, manages and coordinates services for child and youth welfare and career counselling. The kjz Winterthur (Child and Youth Welfare Centre) is a polyvalent counselling centre for families, parents, young people, children and toddlers and operates on the basis of the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zurich.
The Early Childhood Department of kjz Winterthur is looking for a Mother and Father Advisor 60% from 1 July 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Advising parents in the local counselling centres of the residential communities and conducting home visits
- Advising and informing parents on the care, nutrition and development of infants and toddlers
- Raising parents' awareness of the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the child
- Discussing everyday parenting issues and supporting the role-finding as parents
- Supporting the assessment of child welfare clarifications
- Administrative tasks such as record keeping
Our requirements
- Completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH with a focus on KJFF or as a midwife
- Several years of work experience in paediatric nursing
- Completed further training as an Early Childhood Advisor HFP
- High professional and social skills as well as independent and proactive working style
- High motivation and ability to work in a team
- Driving licence B and the possibility to use your own vehicle
