Due to retirement, we are looking for a Head of Z-INA Higher Vocational School 90-100% starting June 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Under the umbrella of OdA Gesundheit Zürich, Z-INA offers postgraduate degree programs and postgraduate courses in the nursing specialties of intensive care, emergency, and anesthesia nursing. As the largest education provider in Switzerland in the field of AIN, Z-INA imparts practical knowledge combined with the latest scientific findings.

How you will contribute

• You will take over the strategic and operational management of Z-INA
• You are responsible for quality assurance and continuous development of educational offerings as well as cooperation between partners
• You bear the professional, personnel, and business management responsibility for Z-INA
• You lead a motivated, interdisciplinary team of 23 people and work daily to foster our vibrant culture and close team cohesion
• You hold primary responsibility for the further development of Z-INA in a dynamic environment
• As a member of the management of OdA Gesundheit Zürich, you help develop and implement long-term corporate strategies and thus influence the overall development of the company
• You plan, organize, and coordinate complex projects
• You maintain good contact with Z-INA stakeholders and ensure excellent customer service

What you bring

• You have several years of professional experience in a leadership role with comprehensive management responsibility
• A completed postgraduate degree in one of the three specialties: intensive care, emergency, or anesthesia nursing
• You have completed higher vocational training in pedagogy and a management degree
• You are well acquainted with the Swiss healthcare system and the Swiss education landscape and know how to network accordingly
• You are characterized by a cooperative and appreciative leadership style at eye level
• You are an integral, resilient, and solution-oriented leader with pronounced social competence. Your working style is strategic, structured, and forward-looking with high personal responsibility and reliability
• You think entrepreneurially, recognize connections in the big picture, and make decisions based on sound analyses, critical reflection, and a clear visionary orientation
• With your convincing and authentic communication, you know how to win people over for common goals, effectively shape changes, and resolve conflicts empathetically, constructively, and sustainably even in challenging situations
• You have solid IT user skills and an affinity for digital developments
