We are looking for a responsible, resilient and customer-oriented personality for the position of
Exhibition & Event Assembler / Service Technician 100 %
Your Tasks
- Logistical support and implementation of internal and external projects throughout Switzerland
- Proper storage, provision, loading, transportation, assembly and disassembly, cleaning, maintenance and storage of event, POS, advertising and exhibition materials
- Ensuring timely and quality-compliant project implementation according to internal guidelines and legal requirements
- Responsibility for vehicle and load including checking operational and load safety before transport
- Carrying out event logistics work with vehicles up to 3.5 t and trailers throughout Switzerland
- Contact person and representative of 2communicate to customers on site
- Proactive and appropriate communication with internal and external parties
- Coordinative, organisational or promotional tasks during project implementation
- Reporting ambiguities, deviations or special situations to dispatch
- Correct recording of relevant order data such as hours, kilometres and deviations in XS:Rapport using a tablet
- Pre- and post-processing of projects including warehouse management and inventory adjustments in the inventory management system
- Cleaning, care and minor maintenance of vehicles as well as event and exhibition materials according to internal guidelines
- Deployments in warehouse and transport logistics depending on needs and business development
- Active participation in compliance with and further development of our management systems
An important part of this role involves deployments as a service technician.
These deployments particularly include:
- Ensuring operational readiness and safety of materials, infrastructure and vehicles
- Assessing the condition of materials and reporting damages, defects or repair needs
- Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and cleaning work according to specifications
- Supporting technical clarifications and simple maintenance tasks
- Documenting performed service work, deviations and special findings
- Independent deployments at customers, locations or within internal operations – depending on assignment and need
Your Profile
- You have completed a vocational training in a craft or logistics or have a comparable qualification
- You enjoy practical work, event logistics, material handling and technical tasks
- You have a good understanding of operational safety, load security and careful handling of materials and vehicles
- You hold a category BE driving licence or are willing to complete the trailer test within a reasonable period (at least the BE learner's permit must be available at the start of work)
- You have a forklift licence or are willing to complete the forklift test
- You are experienced in using tablets, smartphones and scanners for "paperless delivery"
- You have good German language skills in spoken and written form; additional languages such as French and Italian are an advantage
- You work reliably, in a structured and responsible manner
- You are resilient, flexible and maintain a positive attitude even in hectic situations
- You are willing to travel and work on weekends
- You communicate actively, solution-oriented and contribute improvement suggestions
