About the job

We are consolidating the areas of patient administration and reception under a single management in the future. For this, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a personality who will build up and further develop this area as

• Bringing together patient administration, patient admission and reception into one organisation with around eleven employees and one apprentice
• Establishing a central patient admission within patient administration
• Stabilising billing according to TARDOC and outpatient flat rates in the first operational year
• Building a reliable outpatient service and revenue controlling system as the basis for cost carrier accounting
• Establishing sustainable deputies in outpatient and inpatient billing

• Expansion of outpatient services, partly in cooperation with external partners
• Introduction of new outpatient organisational units and their mapping in service recording and billing
• Mandatory recording for attending physicians in IBI-care, including training and support
• Further development of service and diagnosis recording, including AI-supported solutions
• Supplementary insurance concept and negotiations with insurers
• Cooperation with partner hospitals

• Professional and personnel management of patient administration, patient admission and reception
• Responsibility for correct and timely billing in the inpatient, outpatient and nursing home areas
• Contact person for professional and tariff-related questions from internal and external bodies, especially insurers
• Responsibility for billing processes in SAP IS-H and for the interface to service recording in IBI-care
• Monitoring key figures and implementing optimisation measures
• Close cooperation with medical controlling, coding, finance and medical departments

• Several years of leadership experience in patient administration in a hospital, ideally with proven experience in building up or restructuring an area
• Sound knowledge of TARDOC and outpatient flat rates as well as experience in inpatient billing according to SwissDRG; knowledge of nursing home billing is an advantage
• Experience with SAP IS-H; knowledge of IBI-care is welcome
• Enjoyment in rethinking processes, creating structures and leading a team through change
• Confident manner with insurers, medical staff and external partners
• Commercial basic education with relevant further training in healthcare or equivalent qualification
• Very good knowledge of German
