Role:
In the position as Financial Accountant at our Rocken partner, you will take on a wide range of tasks including managing the financial accounting of two operational Swiss group companies as well as preparing the monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR. In doing so, you not only support the financial integrity of the company but also contribute to continuously improving our products and services to meet the needs of our customers.
In addition to your financial responsibilities, you will also be involved in process optimisation and digitalisation to ensure we work efficiently and keep pace with the latest developments in the industry. By participating in audits and the preparation of the statutory annual accounts, you ensure the transparency and accountability of our company.
Your role as Financial Accountant is therefore not only financially significant but also contributes substantially to achieving our long-term goals and realising our vision. Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the management of financial accounting for two operational Swiss group companies
You prepare the monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR
You support the recording of information in the consolidation software
You take over the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting, and are also responsible for VAT accounting and calculation of tax provisions
You are the contact person for the financial accounting clerks
You participate in internal and external audits
You work on projects in the area of process optimisation and digitalisation
Qualifications:
- You have a completed degree or a professional certificate in finance and accounting / fiduciary or comparable positions
- You have several years of professional experience as a financial accountant or in similar positions
- You have solid knowledge of financial statements and are very familiar with SAP FI
- Your approach is analytical and structured, and you have a networked way of thinking
- You have business fluent German skills in spoken and written form
