Senevita Casa is the private Spitex service of Senevita, dedicated to outpatient home care. We offer personalised services to promote the autonomy and quality of life of elderly people in their own home environment. As part of the largest private provider of elderly care services in Switzerland, Senevita Casa integrates our network of assisted living residences and care facilities, bringing professional support directly to the home.

For the Senevita Casa Ticino - Lugano Region location, we are immediately looking for:

Qualified Nurse - Night Shift 40-100%

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, professional and personalised nursing care at our clients' homes during the night.
• Assess clinical conditions, promptly recognise any changes and define care priorities.
• Assist and monitor people with complex clinical situations and high care needs, including patients requiring respiratory support.
• Competently manage unforeseen and emergency situations, activating the doctor or emergency services when necessary.
• Ensure the correct execution of medical-nursing prescriptions and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Document interventions and ensure precise and complete handover to the team.
• Collaborate with doctors, family members, caregivers and other professionals involved in care.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma (Bachelor SUPSI, SSSCI diploma or foreign qualification recognised in Switzerland).
• Proven professional experience in Emergency, Intensive Care, Intermediate Care/IMC or in a high-complexity acute care setting.
• Ability to perform clinical assessment, prioritise and independently manage emergency situations.
• Experience in caring for patients with ventilatory support is a significant advantage.
• High sense of responsibility, reliability and decision-making ability.
• Ability to work independently during the night shift while maintaining close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Accuracy in documentation and transmission of clinical information.
• Good interpersonal skills, empathy and ability to establish a professional and reassuring relationship with patients and families.
• Availability to work mainly night shifts.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel within the area.
