Payroll Specialist 60 - 80 %
Are you looking for a challenging position where you can apply and expand your expertise in payroll? Then you are exactly right with us!
Your Responsibilities
- Payroll | Timely processing of salaries for approx. 1,000 employees (hourly and monthly wage earners), as well as handling all back payments and adjustments in Abacus
- Personnel Administration | Changes and maintenance of personnel master data in Abacus
- Social Insurance Matters | Processing and correct handling of daily sickness and accident benefits, family allowances, MSE, VSE, EO and care leave
- Withholding Tax Processing | Responsibility for maintaining and updating withholding tax rates as well as timely electronic salary notifications (ELM) including correct and timely transmission to tax authorities
- Consultation | Contact person for all salary and social insurance questions of employees and managers
- Account Reconciliations | Reconciliation of HR accounts with financial accounting to ensure correct recording of all salary and social insurance contributions
- Correspondence | Written and telephone communication with authorities and social insurance institutions
- Time Recording | Checking and correcting employees’ time recording data
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Professional Experience | A completed basic education with solid professional experience in payroll / salary accounting is required
- Professional Qualification | Ideally, you have further training in payroll or social insurance areas
- Working Method and Precision | You have a strong numerical understanding and are characterised by a precise working style. High quality standards and the ability to work accurately even in complex situations are natural to you
- IT Affinity | You have very good MS Office skills and ideally also sound Abacus knowledge, which you can use effectively in daily work
- Process Optimisation | You have a strong interest in digitising processes and continuously optimising workflows
- Independence and Responsibility | Reliability and enjoyment of independent work characterise you. You like to take responsibility and work with a high degree of precision and care
- Teamwork and Personal Attributes | You enjoy working in a team, are resilient and are characterised by a service-oriented as well as entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
