What you'll be doing here

Leading the integration of AI technologies into learning scenarios to foster learning and metacognitive skills.

Conducting rigorous and impactful research, with opportunities to publish in top-tier journals and present at international conferences.

Participating in project management, including coordination with an SNF-funded project.

Contributing to the supervision of PhD students and shaping the next generation of scholars in this emerging field.

Pursuing your own projects in the field of "Human-Centered AI Learning Systems" (e.g., Conversational Agents, Ethical AI, Large Language Models for Education, Writing Assistants, or others) and acquiring funding for an extended position/ independent research agenda.

What you'll bring with you

A completed Ph.D. in a field relevant to the project, such as Computer Science, Educational Technology, Information Systems, HCI, or a related field.

Experience in HCI research with expertise in either Natural Language Processing, Systems design, or behavioral studies.

Exceptional skills in research, academic writing, and data analysis.

Proficiency in English, with German skills (at B1)

The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international team setting.
