Your role

To ensure we can continue to fulfil this important task in the future, we are looking for a committed individual for our drilling and brine field operations in the Greater Basel area as an All-rounder/-in Building Maintenance Welder/Lorry Driver

You enjoy working outdoors in a well-coordinated team and take on versatile technical as well as manual tasks around our drilling and brine fields. With your expertise, you make an important contribution to sustainable salt extraction in Switzerland.

All-rounder/-in Building Maintenance Welder/Lorry Driver Salt Extraction

What you can achieve with us

• Supporting the team in carrying out drilling and workover operations
• Independent and safe execution of mechanical interventions on drillings, such as pipe changes, pipe installation, pipeline modifications, backflushing as well as milling and cutting work
• Transporting, loading and unloading pipes, construction site equipment and tools
• Confident handling of hydraulic tongs, winches, swivel heads, turntables, pumps, flushing circuits and measuring devices
• Performing functional tests, cleaning work and minor repairs, MIG/MAG and arc manual welding
• Maintenance, care and upkeep of machines, tools and technical equipment
• Contributing to compliance with safety, health and environmental standards

Your qualities as a professional and person

• Completed training in a manual or construction-technical field, for example in civil engineering, tunnel construction, specialised civil engineering, experience as a welder/fitter or in a comparable professional environment
• Good knowledge of hydraulics, pressure and control technology
• Experience with heavy construction machinery is an advantage
• Lorry driving licence for small, local transport tasks
• High safety awareness as well as a reliable, independent working style
• Team spirit, resilience and enjoyment of practical work outdoors
• Fluent German language skills
