Simulator Pilot Freelance (max. 20%)
Location: Wangen b. Dübendorf
When: 1 August 2026 or upon availability
Act as a Simulator Pilot during Air Traffic simulations to provide to our Air Traffic Controllers the most realistic trainings for their training event.
- Working as a Simulator Pilot in ATC simulations
- Controlling aircrafts and executing ICAO radiotelephony (RT) ENG/DE
- Simulating adjacent ATC Centres, including coordination tasks
- Operating life systems in simulation
- Occasionally you take over other specific functions (RDP, Trainer and Observer Pilot)
- Proficient in executing IFR pilot phraseology (ICAO Level 4) in English
- Affinity in operating computers and other technical equipment (e.g. radio, telephone, etc)
- Real flight experience or flight simulator experience is an asset
- Flexibility to cope with seasonally fluctuating demand and different daily working assignments/hours
- Availability 6-8 days per month from October till End of March; April till September 2-4 days per month
- Social & self awareness: You manage emotions effectively, staying composed under stress and avoiding impulsive reactions
- Motivation: You foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, acknowledging both the efforts and progress of others
