We are a leading internationally oriented commercial law firm in Switzerland and are looking to strengthen our teams with a service-oriented individual with an eye for detail.
This role as Assistant in Litigation (focus on Arbitration) is particularly suitable for committed, independent individuals with a strong sense of organisation who are seeking a challenging role in a professional environment and wish to develop both professionally and personally.
Your tasks:
- Administrative and organisational support for partners and lawyers in the litigation department
- Independent correspondence in German and English with clients, authorities, and courts
- Creation, editing, and formatting of pleadings, contracts, and presentations
- Management and organisation of appointment and travel arrangements, including booking and billing of travel
- Independent processing of invoices, fee statements, and deadline monitoring
- Administrative tasks such as invoicing and conflict checks
- Planning and coordination of internal and external meetings as well as preparation of the necessary documents
Your profile:
- Commercial basic training or comparable further education
- Initial experience in an internationally oriented law firm, preferably in litigation, or several years of experience in the professional services sector
- Confident German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Proactive, responsible, and committed working style with high initiative and excellent interpersonal skills
- Structured, precise, and independent personality with a keen eye for detail
- Very good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with legal IT applications is a plus
