For our dynamic Payroll Team, we are looking for a Payroll & Time Specialist (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
The position is part of the HR Shared Services Team either in Freiburg im Breisgau or at our production site in Markkleeberg near Leipzig.
The focus of the work is on payroll accounting and time management.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of a timely and professional payroll accounting
- Ensuring the smooth interaction between time recording systems and payroll accounting, checking the completeness / accuracy of employee master data, time reports, timesheets, and overtime calculations before processing the payroll.
- Managing complex events in the employee lifecycle (e.g., marriage, birth, years of service), entries, and organizational/employment contract changes.
- Participation in and leadership of projects related to time recording / payroll accounting, including system upgrades, introduction of new software, and continuous system improvements
- Support in the development and implementation of training programs related to time recording
- Close collaboration with all relevant local and regional stakeholders
- Participation in various HR-related projects within the matrix structure
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field. Alternatively, a completed training as a tax clerk or commercial training with further education in payroll accounting
- Professional experience
- Several years of experience in payroll accounting, time recording, time management with a focus on process improvement preferably in a production environment
- Experience in a customer-oriented, multinational business environment, preferably with experience in shared services.
- Proven experience in leading or participating in projects in the field of time management (e.g., system implementation, process optimization)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Experience in training and educating teams regarding best practices and systems of time recording
- Project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and scheduling are an advantage
- Good experience with SAP systems, ideally SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM. Additional experience with time recording and payroll systems is an advantage
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
- Service and customer-oriented thinking combined with a high degree of implementation strength and teamwork ability
