Grade and annual salary (including 13th month):
9 83'633.-- / 133'310.--
Tasks:
- ensure overall management of occupational safety
- ensure the safety of buildings used by the cantonal administration and schools
- provide advice on occupational safety and general safety
- organise and actively participate in staff training on occupational safety
- coordinate the implementation of specific sectoral solutions and define the consequent activities of the cantonal administration
- coordinate safety audits for cantonal administration buildings
- act as the internal contact person for the Section on safety-related matters
- prepare estimates and the current management financial plan in the field of safety;
- actively collaborate in various legislative bodies dealing with occupational safety
Requirements:
- bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering, alternatively a diploma from a higher specialised school (SSS) as a building design technician or a diploma from a higher specialised school (SSS) as a construction site management technician
- advanced training in accordance with the Ordinance on the Qualification of Occupational Safety Specialists (OQUAL9) of 25 November 1996, aimed at preparing for the role of occupational safety specialist (safety engineer), complying with continuing education obligations pursuant to Art. 7
- AICA fire expert competence certificate
- proven experience in occupational safety and building safety
- strong planning skills to meet set objectives
- experience in audits (investigations, expert reports, analyses)
- knowledge of common IT systems (Office suite, etc.)
- excellent knowledge of Italian, good spoken and written knowledge of a second official language
- experience participating in working groups
- technical/administrative knowledge related to the main activities and sectors of the Administration is an advantage
- ability to communicate even complex concepts (orally and in writing) effectively, adapting the message to the audience
- judgement skills, critical sense and independence, decision-making, responsibility, understanding different viewpoints, negotiation skills
- Category B driving licence

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment rate), flexible or according to service needs
