Job description:

For a well-known banking client, we are seeking two integration specialists in the payment sector. This concerns the following integration software within the respective DevOps teams.

Depending on deployment, you will work in one of the following teams:

• Team MESS: Support and integration of solutions around EBICS, SWIFT and Multibanking.
• Team Plankton: Support and integration of solutions around CLS, SIC and sanctions filter checks.

Your main tasks include:

• Technical support and operation of purchased standard software,
• Integration into existing system landscapes as well as
• Analysis and resolution of faults.
• You ensure stable, secure and reliable application operation and work closely with internal IT teams, infrastructure managers and external software suppliers.

Headcount: 2 persons

Start: DEC 2026 (earlier or later possible)

Duration: 12 months, possible extension

Workload: 100%

Location: Zurich, 3 days/week on site

Requirements:

Must-haves:

• 5-8 years professional experience as an IT integration specialist or application manager, ideally focusing on purchased standard software in the banking environment.
• Good practical knowledge of Linux server environments, Unix shell scripting, databases and the integration of applications into existing surrounding systems.
• Experience with interfaces, technical dependencies and analysis of complex integration and operational issues.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as IBM MQ Series.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of Linux as well as Oracle DB or PostgreSQL is advantageous.
• Experience with certificates and enterprise and Active Directory environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of technologies such as Podman, Keycloak and Karaf or programming languages such as Perl and Python is beneficial.
• Experience with payment standards and solutions such as EBICS, SWIFT, SIC or CLS is a strong plus.
• Experience in requirements engineering, especially in capturing, analysing and documenting technical and business requirements, is advantageous.
