Judicial Management
The District Court of Horgen is a first-instance civil and criminal court with around 60 employees. Approximately 4,000 cases are processed each year.
An audit at a district court allows individuals with a completed law degree to enter the Zurich civil and criminal justice system. The audit is counted as a net year in terms of the admission requirements for the bar exam.

Your area of responsibility
As an auditor, you will gain insight into all areas of activity of a Zurich district court through our pool system and work with all our 11 judges and 15 court clerks.
You will participate in hearings, create the corresponding minutes, contribute to the reasoning of decisions, and provide legal advice. You will gain in-depth insight into procedural law, civil law (e.g., family law, claims including labor law and tenancy disputes), criminal law, as well as debt collection and bankruptcy law.

The District Court of Horgen regularly fills auditor positions throughout the year. Please indicate in your application when you would like to start the position. In addition to the planned positions, there are always short-term employment opportunities. If there is no free auditor position at the relevant time, suitable applications will be placed on the interested parties list.
