Head of Logistics & Warehouse (m/f/d) 100% Position

About the job

Whether trade fair, congress, banquet or corporate event: there is always something happening on the Olma site.
In this role, you and your team ensure that material and infrastructure are in the right quantity, quality and at the right place at the right time.

Your tasks

• Leadership, deployment planning and further development of the warehouse and logistics team
• Further development of warehouse and logistics processes with a genuine culture of improvement
• Planning infrastructure for trade fairs, congresses and events together with event management
• Warehouse management, incoming and outgoing inspection as well as periodic inventories
• Material provision according to the setup list, restocking and logistics management at major events
• Responsibility for budget, procurement and cost-conscious material management
• Ensuring all safety, hygiene and HACCP guidelines in the warehouse
• Deputising for the head of infrastructure & back office services

Your profile

• Training as a logistics specialist with a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ) or equivalent professional qualification
• Several years of experience in warehouse management and logistics
• Proven leadership experience and enjoyment in motivating and developing a team
• Decisiveness and assertiveness in a dynamic environment
• Experience in the trade fair, catering or event sector is an advantage
• Logistical thinking, organisational talent & high degree of independence
• Very good communication skills, resilience & stress resistance
• High quality awareness and good manual skills (electrical knowledge is an advantage)
• Driving licence category B/BE and forklift licence (category C/C1E is an advantage)
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends
• Good IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
