These are your tasks - exciting and challenging
As a committed and experienced leader, you are responsible as Team Leader Purchasing for determining the demand for goods, materials, and services in close cooperation with the various specialist departments. You plan procurement taking into account inventory levels, delivery times, and seasonal fluctuations. You conduct comprehensive market analyses to identify suitable suppliers and obtain offers. Furthermore, you negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery deadlines as well as discounts and conclude framework and individual contracts. You keep an eye on the legal aspects. As a team leader, you continuously analyze saving potentials and take over the controlling of purchasing costs as well as the implementation of saving measures. The creation of meaningful reports and KPIs rounds off your tasks.
What you bring with you
- Good technical and mathematical understanding
- Technical or commercial basic training with further education as a Federal Purchasing Specialist, additional business management training is an advantage
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in purchasing
- Strong communication skills, reliable, friendly, and professional appearance
- Proficient handling of an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability and joy in leading, motivating, and promoting employees
- Structured working method, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking
- Experience in project management
- Familiar with legal basics for contracts
- Negotiation fluent in German and English, additional languages are welcome
