For our headquarters in Olten, we are looking for a
Development Engineer Mechanical Engineering / Project Manager (80–100%) to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Developing test benches with combustion chambers, pressure vessels, piping systems, measuring probes, optical access points, and fixtures.
- Together with the project team, you develop concepts, component research, calculations, and CAD models of assemblies and complete systems.
- Accompanying and supporting the detailed design from concept to final design.
- As a project manager, you are responsible for the project’s success. You coordinate activities, act as the interface to the customer, set priorities, manage procurement, and ensure the timely, technically and economically successful implementation of the project.
Your profile
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering (BSc / MSc) with a passion for demanding mechanical engineering designs. Ideally with vocational training in design or mechanics.
- Solid knowledge in design engineering, preferably complemented by experience in 3D metal printing, design of components for high-temperature applications, and initial project management experience.
- Very good skills with 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
Strong quality and responsibility awareness as well as a pragmatic and efficient working style with the aim of developing technically and economically convincing solutions.
