Your area of responsibility:

• Overall responsibility for the operational and professional management of the Zurich branch with a team of four employees as well as the successful further development of the air freight business
• Control and coordination of worldwide import and export shipments including customs clearance and DGR
• Active collaboration with sales as well as expansion and maintenance of customer and key account relationships
• Advising customers and partners as well as preparing and negotiating offers
• Coordination of cooperation with international partners and M+R Spedag Group offices
• Responsibility for correct invoicing and billing
• Ensuring and continuously developing quality, safety and compliance standards in the air freight sector

What you bring:

• Completed training as a freight forwarding clerk
• Several years of professional experience in international air freight (import and export)
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in the field of air security (regulated agent, known consignor, etc.)
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of common MS Office programmes and forwarding software
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as a high solution focus
• Independent, responsible and flexible personality with entrepreneurial thinking
• Enjoyment in working with customers, partners and employees as well as strong communication and organisational skills
