Process Engineer Vulcanizing

To strengthen our team at the Haag site, we are looking for a process engineer (m/f/d) in the field of vulcanization. You will take over the qualification of new tools and processes, support optimization projects and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and safety in production.

MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Qualification of new vulcanizing tools at the Haag site, including the creation of production and process documentation (work instructions, documentation of process parameters, test reports, etc.).
• Vulcanizing qualification orders (tools and new parts).
• Active support in the qualification of processes, elastomers and products.
• Development and implementation of optimization solutions to improve process stability, product quality, efficiency and personal safety while complying with quality standards.
• Planning of the vulcanizing press and vulcanizing tools within production.
• Demonstrate resulting improvements and profitability increases with our CIP and DarWin tool for continuous improvement.

KEY EXPERIENCES - What experiences lead to success in this position?

• Knowledge of vulcanization processes, vulcanizing tools and elastomers
• In-depth knowledge of industrial production
• Technical understanding and basic knowledge
• Knowledge in the field of process analysis and optimization

COMPETENCIES - Which competencies lead to success in this position?

• Completed basic technical training.
• MS Office and ERP knowledge, preferably Microsoft Dynamics (D365).
• Organization of own area of responsibility and independent work.
• Teamwork, independent working style, resilient, persistent and flexible.
• Good German skills in spoken and written form, communication in English is an advantage.
