About the job
The Solothurn Centre Oberwald Foundation supports, accompanies and promotes people with disabilities of all age groups as a result of congenital and acquired impairments, illnesses and accidents in a targeted and individual manner. This takes place at locations in Biberist and Zuchwil. Across the entire foundation, around 200 employees are consistently committed to preserving, further developing and regaining valuable skills – for an inclusive life and participation in society.
At our location in Biberist, we are looking for a
Child Care Assistant, 50-90%, from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement
What to expect
- Ensuring professional basic and treatment care
- Carrying out medical-technical procedures and care services according to training and further education level
- Co-creating a meaningful individual daily life for children, adolescents and young adults with severe multiple disabilities
- Taking on domestic tasks
Your profile
- Completed training as Health and Social Assistant or SRK Nursing Assistant
- Several years of professional experience in health and social care and a special flair for working with children, adolescents and young adults with severe multiple disabilities
- Good communication and writing skills as well as very good German language skills
- High social competence as well as physical and mental resilience
- Good IT application skills (Word, Outlook)
