The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service West (SPPAO) is one of the clinical services of the Department of Psychiatry. It provides comprehensive and multidisciplinary care to anyone suffering from mental disorders residing in western Vaud. The service teams adopt a multidisciplinary approach to offer comprehensive care. They consist of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

The involvement of relatives is actively valued.
