General Terms and Conditions
1.
Scope
The restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT belongs to the Altes Tramdepot Brauerei Restaurant AG. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as GTC) govern the legal relationship between the guests and the Altes Tramdepot Brauerei Restaurant AG for events with pre-ordered services in the restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT.
2.
Offer, definitive reservation
For events, we prepare an offer according to your wishes. The consideration period is limited according to the offer (max. 14 days). All offered rooms, areas/zones, or capacities are considered provisionally reserved for you during this time. After the consideration period, the restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT is free to pass on the offered services to other interested parties.
For a definitive reservation, please return the attachment of the offer "Definitive Reservation" signed. By doing so, you agree to the offer and these GTC.
IMPORTANT: If a deposit is required according to point 2.3, the payment must be made within 3 working days after receipt of the invoice. Only upon successful receipt of payment is your event considered definitive. Subsequently, we will confirm your event and the receipt of the deposit. In the event that the deposit is not made in time, our offer and the included
offer will expire.
2.1
Estimated total amount
For banquets, the following amounts per person (including VAT) are calculated:
Lunch

Dinner

Apero & Dinner
CHF 70.00
Prices for seminars, room rentals, and other services will be mentioned in the offer.
2.2
MUG | Minimum turnover guarantee
For exclusive use of our hall on the 1st floor, a minimum turnover guarantee of CHF 2,000.00 applies on Fridays & Saturdays from 5:00 PM.
Exclusively November & December:
Wednesday
CHF 4,000.00
Thursday - Saturday
CHF 5,000.00
This amount is for consumption of food and drinks [including VAT].
If the MUG is not reached, the difference will be charged as rental costs.
2.3
Deposit
For events from AU persons, we require a deposit between October 1 and January 31. We charge 50% of the estimated total amount (2.1) or 50% of the required MUG (2.2) as a deposit. The amount to be paid will be indicated in the
offer. A deposit will not be refunded if the event is canceled but can be credited to another event of the organizer within 280 days. After this period, the deposit will expire.
Please also note the cancellation conditions in point 11. (11.1-11.4) below.
2.4
Extraordinary situation / force majeure
If an event cannot be held by the restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT due to an extraordinary situation or force majeure, it can be postponed for a maximum of 280 days without cancellation costs. A deposit will be credited 100% on the alternative
event day. After this period, the deposit will expire.

3.
Detail agreement
The sooner we are informed about your ideas for the event, the better we can implement them. Our sales department is happy to assist you with wishes and questions. Please note that you must inform us by phone or email of the following information at least 7 working days before your event: e _Food and drink selection (uniform menu possibly with a vegetarian option for the main course)
Number of people for food [including number of vegetarian menus]
Schedule [for banquets including speeches, shows, or similar]
Payment method and possibly exact billing address
Other important information from your side
Last-minute changes to confirmed services (menu, seating, etc.) cannot be guaranteed and may result in additional costs.
4.
Food selection
Please decide on a uniform menu. Of course, you may choose a vegetarian option for the main course.
5.
Changes in the number of people
The number of people mentioned in the offer serves as a calculation basis for the estimated total turnover. The definitively reported number of people [7 working days in advance] is the basis for purchasing, production, and planning and will be charged. Up to 2
days before the event, we accept changes in the number of people of max. 10%. For 1 day or less, changes of 5% for pre-ordered menus are possible; for Apero and seminar packages, we do not allow adjustments less than 48 hours before the event.
6.
Placement
Our head of service decides, depending on the season, weather, and your definitive number of people, where the event takes place. If
rooms have been confirmed, this point is waived.

General conditions
Delays of more than half an hour must be reported to our sales department or the head of service. Otherwise, we are entitled to charge you for the additional personnel costs incurred.
Sticking on walls and windows in the rooms is not permitted. We are happy to provide you with technical aids for hanging posters, placards, objects, etc.
8.
Liability
The restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT fundamentally rejects liability for damages or loss of items that belong to the guests or third parties. Their insurance against damage and/or loss is the responsibility of the guests or third parties.
The liability of the restaurant OLD TRAM DEPOT for property damage caused by the staff during the event remains reserved.

Prices all prices are listed in Swiss francs, including the statutory VAT rate.
The offered prices are without technical support. Price changes are reserved.
10.
Payment terms
A deposit will be deducted from the final amount. For the remaining amount or the total amount [without deposit], we accept the following payment methods: cash, Maestro, Postcard, all common credit cards, or payment by invoice. The
organizer undertakes to settle an invoice within 30 days of the invoice date without deduction.
Individual collection is not possible for events.
10.1
Payment terms for new customers abroad
Before the event, we will send you a prepayment invoice. This is payable no later than 30 days before the event.
Billing basis: 80% of the expected menu or seminar turnover. As soon as the advance payment amount has been received by us, the
event will be confirmed by us.
