The Zurich Brickworks offer ceramic solutions for the entire building envelope. For over 150 years, we have made living more natural and building easier with our clay building materials. From a simple raw material, we develop sophisticated systems for roofs, walls, and façades. Since 2020, we have been part of the swisspor Group.
In cooperation with the training centre "aprentas", we are training a motivated Automation Technician EFZ apprentice from August 2027.
Your tasks
- Automation technicians build, programme and maintain electrical controls, machines and automation systems
- Detecting and rectifying faults and errors in electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components is an important part of the work.
- You work in maintenance, production and commissioning and create technical documents
- Your expertise ensures that production facilities run smoothly or traffic light systems function reliably
You bring
- Technical interest, flair for mathematics and physics, logical thinking and manual dexterity
- Educational requirements: Completion of secondary school at the extended level of the district school or another higher school level
- Curiosity, patience and joy in finding solutions
- Very good oral and written German skills
What we offer you
In the first 9 months of your training, you will learn the exciting basics of automation together with other apprentices at our training partner aprentas.
