This includes the hazardous substances register, safety data sheets, exposure controls, ventilation, personal protective equipment (PPE), skin protection, UV and ozone risks, safe chemical storage, fire and explosion protection, and occupational hygiene.
- You coordinate compliance requirements for printing inks, including classification, labelling, safety data sheets, market and reporting obligations, dangerous goods requirements, and requirements for printing inks used in food and pharmaceutical packaging.
- You coordinate environmental and emergency topics, including hazardous waste, water and VOC requirements, fire protection, as well as emergency planning and preparedness. Additionally, you prepare Hapa for inspections by SUVA, cantonal authorities, customers, and certification bodies.
- You coordinate external occupational safety specialists and internal contact persons, lead the safety committee, and support line managers in fulfilling their HSE responsibilities.
- You report HSE key figures, risks, and action priorities to management and drive continuous improvements.
Your profile
- You have a university degree or higher technical education in engineering, safety, chemistry, chemical or process engineering, environmental technology, or an equivalent professional qualification and experience.

- You possess sound knowledge in industrial risk assessment, machine and electrical safety, occupational hygiene, and safe chemical storage.
- You have appropriate safety training and a qualification as a contact person for chemicals or are willing to acquire this within an agreed timeframe. Additional qualifications as an internal auditor, in fire protection, or dangerous goods management are advantageous.
- You communicate confidently and professionally in German and English.
- You convince through your practical approach, pragmatic mindset, and ability to advise, coach, and engage employees and managers on safety topics.
- You can advance topics without direct authority, set clear priorities, and escalate consistently when necessary.
