Do you want to actively shape the future of processing technology and make a sustainable contribution to the circular economy? In this key role, you continuously develop our processing plants and production processes. Together with our plants, you ensure more efficiency, higher plant availability and innovative solutions in the processing of primary and secondary raw materials.
What to expect:
- You analyse and optimise our processing plants and production processes with a focus on costs, quality, energy efficiency and plant availability
- You modernise our crushing and processing technology and introduce new technologies
- You identify improvement potentials, implement optimisation measures together with our sites and thus contribute to cost leadership in our gravel business
- You support our maintenance teams as a sparring partner and promote cross-site exchange of best practices
- You develop innovative solutions for the high-quality processing of demolition materials and thereby strengthen the circular economy
- You work closely with site management, engineering, research & development as well as other internal and external partners and also contribute your expertise to technical customer enquiries
What you bring:
- Technical basic training with further education in mechanical engineering, processing technology or a comparable field
- Several years of experience – ideally at least five years – in the aggregates, cement or heavy industry
- Practical experience in processing technology, plant optimisation and maintenance
- Experience in managing technical projects as well as an analytical and solution-oriented working style
- Enthusiasm for innovation, sustainable raw material extraction and continuous improvement
- Fluent German skills as well as good English and French skills
- You work independently, think entrepreneurially and bring people and different specialist areas together
- Safety, quality and sustainability are your top priorities
- You are willing to travel regularly within Switzerland as well as to Italy, southern Germany, Alsace and occasionally to other locations in Europe (approx. 40%)
