R&D Team Lead__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you have the opportunity to plan and carry out tests for various products according to standardised test methods and requirements.
Daily, you perform your tasks and activities applying your skills, techniques, and a solid practical understanding of the concepts used in the technology.
Furthermore, you demonstrate your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results.
Work model: on-site in Schaffhausen
This position is assigned to the business unit Electrification, Smart Buildings, Energy Distribution at the Schaffhausen location.
Your main tasks include:
Supporting the planning and implementation of inspection and test plans
Identifying product deviations (non-conformities) and proposing suitable solutions
Supporting external certification auditors during test activities for ABB or customer products
Qualifications for this role
You hold a bachelor’s degree or a Technician HF qualification in electrical engineering or electronics
You have knowledge of measurement technology and electrical systems
You are qualified in setting up test rigs and test systems
You enjoy working in a team, are solution-oriented, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; English skills are an advantage.
