Job Description
- Constantly offer a professional, friendly welcome and pleasant service
- Greet guests with a smile, a welcoming word, and seat them at the table ensuring immediate follow-up by a Maître d'Hôtel or sommelier
- Provide the names of guests to the Chefs de Rang
- Answer the phone with a smile and take reservations
- Know the menu and the composition of the dishes
- Always be informed about activities and/or services to inform guests
- Check the cleanliness of menus, wine lists, and bill holders
- Check the cleanliness of the restaurant and the good condition of the dining room
- Organize the deposit and retrieval of coats at the cloakroom
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Catering required
- Fluent in French and English – Italian would be a plus
- Ability to work in a team
- Good presentation
- Excellent relations with clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of Excel and Word
