The Traffic Task Force (EG-Traffic) is part of the Winterthur city police and ensures safety on our streets day and night. Working in traffic police requires flexibility, resilience, and a high level of responsibility. To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a police officer with experience and enthusiasm for traffic police operations.Your Tasks
- Patrol service with radio patrol vehicles and operational motorcycles
- Control of stationary and moving traffic
- Conducting traffic police focus controls
- Specialist responsibility in various topics
- Intervention in disturbances and conflicts in the traffic area and additionally support of other police services as needed
Your Profile
- Completed training as a police officer with a federal specialist certificate or diploma
- Strong interest in traffic police topics
- Pronounced social and communication skills as well as confident and correct appearance
- Resilience physically and mentally
- Enjoyment in contact with people of diverse origins and life realities
What We Offer
- 24/7 shift operation according to a clearly structured rotation model: four operational days in a row, followed by four days off. The shifts each last 12 hours and are divided into two day shifts, followed by two night shifts
