Chemical laboratory technician at the Radiopharmacy Unit in the Pharmacy Service
The management of the Department of Interdisciplinary Centers (DCI) is looking for a chemical laboratory technician at a 50% rate, for the Radiopharmacy Unit of the pharmacy, within the framework of a fixed-term contract of one year with possible evolution to a 100% permanent contract thereafter. The desired starting date is 01.01.2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Department of Interdisciplinary Centers (DCI) includes notably the central operating block, the endoscopy center, the Emergency Service, the Pharmacy Service, and the Adult Intensive Care Service. Its mission is to guarantee highly specialized care, ensure quality training conditions (initial and postgraduate), as well as to develop research projects and quality approaches.
Mission
- You perform chemical analyses necessary for the release of radiopharmaceutical drugs according to validated methods
- You carry out analytical control of innovative unregistered radiopharmaceutical drugs complying with Swissmedic manufacturing authorization
- You handle and analyze radioactive biological products
- You develop and validate analytical methods
- You perform environmental monitoring in clean rooms
- You carry out quality control of laboratory equipment
- You participate in maintaining the laboratory quality system
- You apply radiation protection rules.
Profile
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a chemical/analytical chemistry laboratory technician
- You master analytical techniques in liquid and gas chromatography
- You have experience in a GMP environment
- You are comfortable with common computer tools (Microsoft Office)
- You are methodical, precise, and autonomous, capable of anticipation and reactivity
- You have good communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
